Jacqueline E. (Cote) Dumont, 89, of Manchester, entered into eternal life on May 24, 2023, after a short period of declining health surrounded by her family at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack.

Jacqueline was born on September 26, 1933, to George and Diana (Gelinas) Cote.  Jacqueline graduated from St. Joseph High School (where she was a majorette) in 1951 and later married her high school sweetheart Guy R. Dumont and spent 29 years together until he passed in June 1981.  She was predeceased by three siblings, Marilyn Daoust, George Cote, Jr. and Richard (Yogi) Cote. 

Jacqueline worked for the family business of Century 21 Dumont since 1978. The family has fond memories of Jacqueline’s baking, especially her whoopie pies and chocolate cake. From an early age she taught dance and went on to enjoy ballroom dancing. Jacqueline was a devout catholic and had a daily prayer regiment. She looked forward to summertime where the family vacationed at Hampton Beach for several weeks a year. Jacqueline cherished her friendship with Ann and Gus Bernard, Bob and Lori Dumas, Phil and Mary Fawaz, Gloria Messier and Barbara Cusson. She was also a sports enthusiast and loved watching the Patriots, Tom Brady and the Red Sox.

Family members include four children: Richard Dumont and his wife Tomiko of Manchester, Donna Foley and her husband Steve of Charlestown, MA, Diana Dumont of Manchester, and Darleen Wilkins and her husband Bobby of Bedford. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Erin (Ian) Sinclair, Brandan (Katie) Fitzpatrick, Loren (Kenny) Robidas, Derek (Candis) Dumont, Cody Dumont, Matthew (Maryam) Dumont, Jonathan and Nathaniel Dumont and seven great grandchildren, Elliott and Oliver Sinclair, Tanner & Cayden Fitzpatrick, Kaelin and Macie Robidas, Emmie Grace Dumont and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hour will be at Phaneuf Funeral Home and Crematorium, 254 Hanover St., Manchester on Thursday June 1st from 2 to 5 PM with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 5. A private burial service will take place in Mt. Calvary cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband.
