Edward A. Ranger, Jr., 78, of Bedford, NH died on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at his residence in Bedford, NH.  

Mr. Ranger was born on April 8, 1945, in Hingham, MA, the son of the late Edward A. and Gladys (Clark) Ranger, Sr.

Mr. Ranger was employed by Don Wheeler Construction where he worked for 60 years, as a street and road contractor.   

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at his barn with his cows, donkeys and Belgian horses. Mr. Ranger also looked forward to his annual trips to Aruba where he visited the island for 40 years. He was a Shriner and a Mason.

Members of his family include; his wife Susan (Wheeler) Ranger, of Bedford, NH; his daughter, Heidi Ranger and grandson, Colin Newbold; two sisters, Gloria Chase and Marie Laughlin and her husband, Dickey, several nieces and nephews.    

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 3 – 6 p.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester, NH. Graveside services will be private.
