NH Gives 2025: A Record-Breaking Campaign

We were thrilled with the results of this year’s NH Gives campaign. With your support, we more than doubled the amount we raised during our last participation in this event and surpassed our annual fundraising goal. The kindness of our community humbles and inspires us. Every dollar raised goes to helping families in need and supporting professional caregivers.

Partnerships Power Our Mission

A significant part of our ongoing success comes from our partnership with Dover Poker and Gaming. Their generous support through New Hampshire’s charitable gaming program has allowed us to expand our reach in meaningful, life-changing ways. Since 2022, contributions from gaming have enabled the Foundation to award more than 175 grants to families across New Hampshire and Vermont.

We are also deeply thankful to have received a 2024 grant from the Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund, part of the Diocese of Manchester. This funding will directly assist residents of New Hampshire who are unable to cover the full cost of a funeral.

Our Three-Fold Mission

Thanks to the combined efforts of our supporters, the Foundation has made a difference in three important areas:

Grants for Funeral Expenses

At the core of our mission is helping families in New Hampshire and Vermont who are struggling to cover end-of-life services for their loved ones.

Support for Hospice Caregivers

With your generous support, we introduced the Caregiver Superstar of the Year award to recognize outstanding hospice caregivers in our community. Our honorees include:

• 2023: Betsy Ann Pelletier, Community Hospice House, Merrimack
• 2024: Nancy Folsom, Home Healthcare, Hospice & Community Services, Keene

Hospice caregivers are champions of end-of-life care, and we’re proud to honor their dedication and compassion.

Scholarships for Mortuary Science Students

Our scholarship program supports the future of funeral professionals. Awardees include:

• 2024: Alexandra Allen-Byam

The Phaneuf Family Foundation is supported by individual donors. We also accept residual funds from prepaid funerals when families choose to donate to the Foundation. These gifts all add up to something powerful.
