The Boscawen, NH veterans funeral home offers full multimedia services, along with a 75-seat chapel. We have also opened up the Boscawen location for community events and guest speakers. This location will provide funeral services to Concord NH and surrounding towns.

Parking

Our parking lot accommodates approximately 50 cars in the front, side and rear of the building. In addition, there is free on-street parking on King Street.

Flag/Veterans Services in Concord

We’ve made it simple for residents to retire tattered American flags at our Concord/Boscawen location. Simply bring your retired flag to our red, white and blue mailbox at 172 King St. Place the flag into the mailbox slot and we will give it a proper retirement, per the U.S. Flag Code.

Congress passed the joint resolution in 1942, providing guidance to how to and how not to display the American flag, and how to retire an American flag. “When the flag is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem, it should be destroyed in a dignified and ceremonious fashion, preferably by burning,” states the code.

We also offer families of deceased veterans the opportunity for the cremation of their loved ones with one of these retired flags.

The New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery is less than two miles from Phaneuf’s Boscawen location, and our site offers an extensive list of veterans benefits. The cemetery in Boscawen provides free burial space for veterans, and veterans can pre-apply to confirm eligibility.
