When Grief is Complicated, a Free CE Credit Program


    While most people are able to cope with the pain of loss, research shows 10 to 20 percent of people have more complicated reactions including Complicated Grief, PTSD, Major Depressive Disorder, Separation Anxiety and Substance Abuse. Complicated Grief reactions may also be a factor in physical illness. This program addresses risk factors, assessment, danger signs and current treatments. It is designed for health and social service clinicians, those in the hospice, palliative care, counseling, hospital, nursing home and faith community environments and others working with the bereaved.

    Attendees will receive 2.5 CE credits!

    This program provides Free 2.5 CE Credits available online directly through the Hospice Foundation of America (following the event). This program is the HFA’s 2017 Living with Grief® program.9 – 9:30 a.m.
