Gail Rubin’s Presentation: Now Available On Demand!

You may have seen our invitations and advertisements about two free seminars, featuring The Doynene of Death, Gail Rubin, which took place in May. The events were hosted at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium’s Manchester and Boscawen locations. The presentation, “Kicking the Bucket List: Downsizing and Organizing Things to Do Before You Die.” offered a lighthearted way to learn about the many aspects of end-of-life planning.

What You Missed

Gail provided the audience with a variety of wonderful and creative ideas for how to downsize and plan for our ultimate end. She ended the seminars with a powerful (and humorous) quote, “The one who dies with the most toys…still dies,” and offered t-shirts with the saying to attendees following the event.

The seminars also featured Buddy Phaneuf, CFSP, Funeral Director, who augmented Gail’s presentation with information on pre-planning for end-of-life services. He stressed that pre-planning is a precious gift for your family, providing your loved ones with your final wishes and you with peace of mind that everything is taken care of.

After the seminar, Michele Phaneuf-Plasz, Vice President of Phaneuf Funeral Homes, said, “Our funeral homes offer community education outreach sessions several times a year. Gail Rubin’s refreshing approach to preparing for end-of-life issues drew huge crowds who gave overwhelmingly positive feedback. She’s upbeat, well-informed, and a great resource to connect with new clients.”
